Nelyvet Meggy Akinyi is a Counseling Psychologist and a graduate of Mount Kenya University. With a clinical background from Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital, she brings valuable experience in supporting individuals with diverse mental health needs.
She is currently a Nivishe Mental Health Fellow, dedicated to advancing community-based mental health advocacy and promoting awareness. She is also volunteering through the Foundation at the Nairobi Children Rescue Centre, where she provides psychological support and mentorship, focusing on fostering resilience and holistic well-being among children in transition.
Her work is driven by a passion for empowering individuals and strengthening mental health support within communities.
